Studio A is happy to announce the Festival of Value, a 5 day online series on the implications of Anoma’s Intents-based Architectures and @cwgoes Scale-Free Money for grassroots & localist economics, ecological design, the DAO space, DeSci and more!
We’ve organized a total of 14 speakers, doing a significant amount of Anoma pilling in the process. More than once we saw people who hadn’t heard of Anoma or thought it was “a glorified limit order” become dumbfounded with excitement about the universe of undefined money and unbundled technology it suggests.
Find the luma calendar here and social media posts forthcoming (I will edit and add to this post as they appear). All talks and discussions will be documented for posterity if you can’t make it - but the hope is that a significant amount of heliax researchers and Anoma builders are able to attend in order to field questions, suggest design directions, or otherwise coordinate as this crew of neophytes works their way through Anoma and its relevance to their body of work.
In the proposal for this series we mentioned the possibility of a builder cohort (of perhaps 5 of the participants), a zine to document their progress, a yearly cycle of the series, etc. We’ll see how it goes, but I hope the research community here looks at the event as just the beginning of an engagement with an experimentalist side of the crypto and alternative economics space that could solidify into an avant garde of real world applications of this important technology.
